Hi,
my Evo 8's shifter has always been very stiff - moving the shifter side to side in neutral or going into gears. This has been always the case since I bought it last year.
This is even after changing out the transfer case and transmission fluids w/ OEM.

I just greased the shifter ball and its socket, it seems to help a little.
But, wondering what else I can do to make it fluid in shifting. And, I've had a few Evo 8s in the past but don't recall being this stiff... thanks!

 

Check your underhood shifter bushings and make sure they arent seized up.
