Ditch the turbo timer. If it's not the cause now, it will be, eventually lol.
Buzzing sounds like the starter. Possibly the bendix trying to do work but can't.
Bad starter or battery not giving enough juice to crank? Dunno.

Yeah, that's what mine did when I didn't have enough juice. It would buzz without moving the crank. That's just the sound of the rotor in the starter motor vibrating because it's locked up. Electric motors consume the most current when they are stalled like that, best not to keep it like that for too long or it gets really hot.

Cool! Thanks for that, I’m going to order a new starter Friday and get a new battery tomorrow. Hopefully one these solves my issues.
EDIT: replace the battery yesterday so today after work we will see if the problem persists.

I had the same problem with mine intermittently starting. I removed the starter and took it apart and cleaned all the brushes and emptied out all the crap. That had to of been at least 4 years ago and haven't had a problem since.

The car has been starting up ever since I replaced the battery. Even in 100+ weather. Guess that was the problem. I will check back in if it ever repeats the issue again but for now all is good.

Thats awesome! The heat does strain the battery, and thats where everything begins. Glad thats all it was.

So I start browsing the forums and I came across a comment that said to put the car in 2nd and rock it back and fourth.

I did that and sure enough the car started right up. I even killed it and started it again perfectly.
What you describe sounds like a tooth missing on the flywheel gear. This would be true if the starter motor was spinning but not the engine. Rocking the car in gear would move the flywheel to where the starter could engage a tooth.
