Curt Brown intake manifold throttle cable issue

Just wanted to put this out there if anyone encounters this issue as I could not find this online anywhere. The flange from the 70mm extend further than the stock manifold making the throttle cable too

short to reach the the hold down bolts. Anyway here is the only solution I could come up with.

Mine was not that far off as you can see from the pics below. An easy fix would be to bolt an 1/8" x 5/8" piece of flat bar to the intake manifold throttle cable mounts. You then set the throttle bracket on top of the flat bar and trace out the slots. You can then drill and tap 2 holes in the flat bar where you marked the slots so you can adjust the throttle bracket. Make sense?

That's what I'll look to do next and update. This looks half *** for me considering how clean the engine bay is.

I had to modify the bracket like 240z did. It works but I understand it looks half ***.
