60ftlbs on the main studs.

Rod bolts should be measured for stretch. The info can be found on Manleys website.

11mm L19 Head studs, no tighter than 95ftlbs if you don't have steel inserts in the head.

You need a way to measure the amount of stretch. Each type of metal has a tension strength per perpendicular area. Torque is not an accurate measuring method to estimate the tension is each rod bolt. A spec of dirt in thread or under bolt head will increase torque to tighten bolt but it does not increase the tension exerted by bolt to hold rod cap on. Buy a rod stretch gauge and do it right. You are risking windowing your block here, so it's worth buying even to use once.

I've found the Manleys torque specs are too tight. Las set of turbo tuffs I did with 7/16 bolts need 5ftlbs less than the "min" torque on their site to get appropriate stretch.

just get a micrometer.. that will work... measure the bolt before, toque to lower spec, measure iits length, if it is within stretch you are done, if not just tighten the bolt a bit more.. measure again..

Do not tighten a tight rod bolt. You can twist the head without turning the threads and it will remained request and lead to failure.

If stretch isn't enough at a certain torque. Loosen the bolt, and retorque a few lbs tighter.
