cool i was hoping for votes for the ssqv. Hey i saw u at the matrix,mr2 meet on sunday, i had the black evo and the shirt that said "Nice legs, when do they open?" hehe Nice car.
havent tried the greddy but i tried the SSQV VTA and recirc, ****ed my car up both times. bogged like a MF in both circumstances, stay away from that thing, the evo does not like it.

go with greddy s man, i had forge vta, hks ssq, and TurboXS RFL,
now greddy i should go with greddy from the begnning because either you can VTA or REC. back to the intake and its fully adjustable.

Don't mean to jack the thread but if you use the greddy, you don't have to recirculate it? And if you don't, will it cause any stalling problems like i hear about the HKS SSQV. (not being recirculate)
OH dude, that was you? I was gonna ask you that day if you were on here, I shoulda guessed it from your screen name hahah. Nice car to you too, and good job burning those 'trix in the videos hahah.
The GReddy will cause stalling/idleing problems. The HKS may also, but if you've got an intake and recirculate the HKS, you'll still hear it and the stalling/idleing problems will be minimal.
The biggest factor in my choice of the HKS over the GReddy is the diaphram design. The HKS is a pull type BOV, and the GReddy is a typical push type. The GReddy diaphram is prone to get weaker and leak over time. The HKS will not, the HKS actually closes tighter as you build boost pressure. The more pressure you boost, the tighter it will close.
Also, just a word of advice. For those of you buying BOV kits, that were made specifically for a certain car with an adapter etc, don't need to tune your BOVs. 9 times out of 10 they are preadjusted from the factory and will work perfectly fine the way it is. Just put it on. A lot of people put them on, then mess with the adjustment screw to change the sound, this just opens up another can of worms. If its not broken, don't fix it.
