Everyone likes their car to behave in their own way. No one is right or wrong here, and everyone will have their own opinion. I personally dont cruise at 4500 rpms around town, nor do I want to downshift or wait for the car to make power. Love the transient response of the smaller turbos with my stock 2.0l and I know I'm not alone in that.

Edited the cruising out of my post. Yes smaller turbos respond better between na to boost.

That is, for me atleast.
That's the experience I had, though I've said it a million times: I know my opinion is in the minority.
Basically, I fell in love with how Evos drive and want to keep that feeling. The HTA71 was the limit for me. If I didn't drive the car around town and do an occasional autox, but instead only tracked the car, then I'd probably do a Red just to make things easier on the parts involved.
Otherwise my IX turbo and this 71 are just too much fun.

Nice build. There definitely something to be said for responsive turbo on the street.
