Right, you could just buy an FP Green/red/black etc. Which is basically the same thing as buying this and modding it. Unless MHI has some kind of special sauce CHRA on this turbo? Otherwise its literally the same thing.

 

It seems point less to you because that's the way you think. You will not find the specific oem spec turbo, with the specific turbine wheel, which it is combined greatly with the compressor wheel I suggested, a wheel which will keep the boost characteristics of the specific but enhance its power output. This turbo is listed as oem, so it can be used by those who have a problem with the law putting a non oem turbo on their car. Using the wheel I posted, it remains the same turbo with enhanced characteristics. It also comes with warranty by Mitsubishi, and anyone who suggests getting an fp turbo, most people outside the States do not favor fp turbochargers very much.

The specific wheel is also a great option for those who damage the oem compressor wheel for some reason.




If one thought in the same way as you, why buy an evo and convert it to a 2.4L or a 1200hp car, and make it a completely different car. There are much better platforms out there if you want to keep the oem character of a car but with much more power output.

So if i got you right, your saying this turbo, modded as you describe is better then the turbo offerings from FP? Couple things though, if you mod the turbo your warranty is gone. Second you might not think very highly of FP turbo's but Kinugawa isn't a widely adopted brand here. There have been some who have used them, but they haven't caught on for one reason or another.

Lastly is it impossible for you to talk about anything without insulting people? Is that like a cultural thing or do you personally just have to put people down when they don't agree with you?

Firstly get your **** right, I as I have not insulted anyone, I've only stated an obvious fact.


Secondly , obviously if you mod the turbo when under warranty, you will lose the warranty on it, but one still gets to keep his engine bay and turbo oem, having an oem part on it. The warranty part was in regards to buying an oem part in comparison to buying an fp one.


Thirdly, buying importing an fp turbo, will cost more than buying an oem part from a Mitsi dealer around the corner.



Thirdly I do not personally think low of FP, what I said was that most people outside U.S, based on my feedback, do not favor FP turbos very much.



I have lived in the States, and although I've met many good people, I've also met some real moronic *******s as well. I've also been in many countries around the world, and diminishing and putting down a person's thoughts, or insulting in general, is not restricted in one civilization only and not in another. Where I see fit to insult someone, I have, and I will do in the future also, although I do not usually insult people, I merely characterize them by presenting them that part of their personality that reality depicts.



I have used both KINUGAWA. MAMBA. KTS, FP, and other companies all good companies in my book.





To make this clear, what I have posted here is a suggestion which is a great option for those who do not consider getting an FP turbo is a good option for them.

You were wrong to be insulted by the obvious and the norm, as everyone has their own way of thinking, and that way of thinking is expressed through their verbal and written speech and non verbal actions.

Not all people live in the U.S and not all people like FP, and even for those of us who like it, it is far more easy and cost-effective to buy a Mitsi oem unit. For those that do not want to use a KINUGAWA compressor wheel, which is a good company in my book, they can use use MAMBA , KTS, UNIVERSAL PERFORMANCE, also good companies. Eiji from MAMBA is a good guy to deal with, not just for comp/turbine wheels, but for complete units as well.

Hahaha i wasnt going to say anything but i lost track of the threads i have read where he comments and quickly goes into how he knows of a turbo that out flows any turbo you can think of and out spools any turbo you can think of.

 

I literally skip over every one of Marios' posts because I know exactly what they will say.
Then, I get generous and decide to read another...instantly regret it.
I think it's cultural. There is no way anyone is like that on purpose. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on that one.
I'm sure he's a cool dude who just comes across horrible in American English.
