Turbo return line problem?

Put a new PCV on (coincidence?) and now when braking heavily into a turn and I get back on the gas, I get a puff of smoke from under the hood, up near the wipers. I was told it's also coming out of the exhaust. It's all only when back on the gas after braking and only for a few seconds.
After getting back to the pit area I could see a small amount of smoke coming from the wheel well area and a bit from under the hood. I can wind the car out and run whatever boost I want and it's fine; it was fine the whole way home. I'm only seeing this after braking. I first noticed this at Sonoma, the day after replacing the PCV valve.
It looks white and I kinda think I can smell coolant, but not sure if the smell is my imagination LOL. It could be bluish but hard to tell because there is so little. I'm more sure that it's white, though.
Oil pressure is normal/stock, so right around 100ish psi at full tilt.
**edit: The reason for my title is because since it only happens during braking, maybe oil is collecting at the return area from the turbo... but that doesn't really make much since, really, now that I think of it. Especially seeing how it's never been a problem before.

FF to the 53 second mark and you can see it coming from the cowl area.

Ideas? I'm getting the car up on a lift this week so looking for ideas of what/where to check for. Maybe you guys can think of something I may miss. Thanks, in advance.

so my turbo was leaking oil from the CHRA and what I would notice is I would get puffs of smoke when braking and esp braking and turning. I think the oil was kinda collecting and the G's made it move / contact hot stuff. Just a theory though.

Need to give the turbo a feel for shaft play. The 71hta is an OEM CHRA so it shouldn't be smoking unless you managed to wear it out. Which is possibly given its a JB turbo and you track it. Smoke coming out of the vent is very odd though. I've never had that happen due to a turbo issue.

Right? the location of smoke is odd. But I gotta think if exhaust AND under hood, it must be turbo related. Will be checking shaft play asap.

Did you find a fix?

FP doesn't do any machine work to HKS stuff. And the 18k is an assembly from Mitsu. Not something FP builds.

By not turbo related I meant an external leak. As opposed to the turbine shaft seals (piston rings) being bad.

Correct

I was considering valve seals, etc. I have a pretty bad, chronic lifter tick so thinking maybe there's something going on that could damage one.
