Intercooler question

If my intercooler piping size is a 2.5inch and my intercooler inlet/outlet is a 3inch can I still run it together or I have to get a 2.5 inlet/oulet? Can someone help
me!

I'd recommend running a 2.5in to 3in silicone coupler, shouldn't have any issues going from the smaller diameter piping to larger intercooler inlet/outlet.

Ok thanks!!! So All I need is a 3 inch coupling for the intercooler and a 2.5 coupling for the pipes?
