well with an intercooler u can raise ur boost levels. thats how u gain the HP.

and yes, any intercooler can fit any car.

you will need new piping to run to and from the intercooler.

you can have a sidemount IC like DSM's and 3kgt's....or u can run it in the front like most people do.

Too large of an intercooler would actually create too much ofa pressure differential and actually hurt performance.

the only intercooler kit i found with piping that will fit was on rrm. so i was wondering does anyone know where you can find a nice intercooler (just the intercooler, cause ill just have the pipes custom made) for close to 200 bucks ... if i need to spend more .. i think im am just going to go with the one from rrm ...

11.4"x19.3"x2.5" core is pretty damn big for only 5-7psi of boost. evos use this intercooler for 16-20psi stock. overkill for a simple turbo kit.

If you are running this IC, with proper tuning, I would say bump it up to 10 - 12 psi.... I dont think it would be overkill in a situation like that. If you want low boost (which to me, having a turbo kit and running 5 psi, roughly 50 - 60 hp is pointless, just stay NA), then it might be too big, and you might want to consider something smaller.

Just go based on your estimated whp. If you are looking for 225 - 275 whp, I think that IC would be perfect.

What about piping? What size piping would you recommend if you were going to run 10-12 psi (as a daily driver)?
