Bent my intercooler!
OK...so i was parking my car last night, everything is cool...and i hear this loud crunch i get out to see the damage, and it seems that i've hooked my front bumper on a tire stop, parking barrier, whatever (those concrete things that stop your car when you pull in). Well, usually you can clearly see these things, and park far in back of them, but this one was made of TARMAC and its BLACK! So, i had no idea it was there. Anyway, i hit the plastic piece under the bumper which the intercooler brackets are connected to, and the bracket in the middle pushed in the intercooler a bit. Just in the center, the very bottom row on the intercooler was pushed up, but not even touching the row above it. Do you think it will be ok? The tech at the dealership said he saw no cracks or leaks, but in the summer heat here in the DC area, it might...What do you think?
thanks
thanks

Zeus, are you saying by adding a bigger aftermarket IC, you don't gain power?
I strongly disagree. Depeding on which IC you get, most have a higher flow rating the stock, and most are more efficient at cooling charge air than stock.
Higher flow + cooler air charge = higher power (via more timing advance, faster spool up, higher potential boost)
