I received a Walbro 450 from an major online vendor that has a different bottom end piece than others I’ve seen. It’s much broader at the bottom. As a result, the bottom part of the fuel hangar will not slide on, as the outer diameter of the pump on the end is wider than the inner diameter of the pump hangar cap by a good amount. I’m talking about the gray part, not the silver part. The pump also looks different on the bottom in terms of the pattern. Here is what I received, with the Evo screen attached, vs. the design I’ve seen elsewhere.

EDIT: I just checked with another big online vendor, and their new Walbros also look like mine.

I called Ti Automotive (the company that makes these pumps) and they confirmed the design change. So, Walbro 450s look like the top photo now, not the bottom photo.

So, how were you able to make it "fit", since it's broader at the bottom?

Thank you.
