Walbro Woes...

I am on my second walbro 255lph pump, and my second stock pump (stock pump died, replaced with walbro, walbro died, put the replaced stock pump back in).

I have had this walbro for 18mos, anyone else have these problems? What kind of warranty does walbro have?

are you sure its the pump? maybe your wiring is bad, and causing your pump to fail ? just shooting out ideas.....

It could be the wiring, not saying it ain't, but the first pump that went out was replaced by mitsu (and I put in a walbro when I got it back)

I've had a couple take a dump on me too... Now I have the 2X as expensive PE 210 pump that seems to be holding strong, and it is OE quiet to boot. Don't know where I will go next for more flow... I've been spoiled not having to listen to the Walbro.

back in the DSM days, the called it the wal-mart pumps or the whinebro pumps. I had a buddy go thru 3 of them, none would build pressure. I think Walbro makes a decent unit, but quality control ain the best, is my guess. Look at the price, though.

Once bitten, twice shy. Get the sard or something else? Can the supra denso pump work? That was a mod done back in the day and RRE had graphs where the supra pump flowed more. Hmm....
