Walbro fuel pump question

i just replaced my broken walbro pump with a new one, walbro 255 also. my question is that is it normal for a walbro pump to be quiet? cause i know that these pumps make whining noise. i have no fuel pressure gauge, but my car runs well and pulls with no problems.

what do you think?

thanks in advance!

Sometimes I don't hear mine and sometimes its really loud. A full interior can quiet it down a good bit. I've had it in there about 3 years too... no real noticeable change over time for mine

I was lucky to get a quiet one too. Still making 460WHP+ on 93 octane after 5 years.
