Walbro 255lph fuel pump

Hi, I have installed Walbro 255lph fuel pump and got a question regarding its noise.
When I read one of thread, walbro fp is 'dead silent' and quieter than stock fp.
But what I'm experiencing is this mosquito noise (can't have better word of explaining it) in the cabin when the car is at idle.
'weeee weeeee weeeeeeeeeeeeeee' kinda noise and its like a giant mosquito caught up in my fuel tank

Since car is running fine, fp must've installed correctly.

Anyone with Walbro installed on their system can comment on this?

Mine whines. At a stand still if you really concentrate then yeah you will hear it but while driving what not I don't really notice.

You can hear the stock one if you remove the rear seat cusion. When I stripped half the car for a week, it didn't really bother me.

Guess it is time to order that test pipe.

They're hit or miss. I actually bought a new one because my original Walbro was so loud. I think you can hear it on one of the vids in my sig. My new one has been imperceptible for nearly a year now.

I have the same problem, another thread references to the possibility that the pump is dying? Any thoughts?

I bought mine used so its tough to say, I'm guessing that if people hear noise when they buy new then its ok.
