As the title states, I installed a MAP O2 housing, Invidia 3" downpipe, cat delete (3" straight pipe) and a Apexi N1 titanium cat back. From what I've gathered, the jdm evo 8 ecu runs richer than usdm. Will I be ok to run the car without a tune for a bit? Need some input, thanks.

 

With a full 3” TBE fitted the car will overboost a few psi over the stock 19lbs or so. Just don’t drive WOT all over the place until you can have the car tuned.

The cars tune can easily be dialed in remotely by any competent tuner assuming you have laptop, cable, and SW (ECUFLASH & EVOSCAN) downloaded on your laptop.

 

I don't plan on driving it hard!, as long as I can accelerate getting onto highways at 3/4 throttle I'm happy.
