I am looking to replace the blown motor on my Evo 8 I found a evo 7 long block ,but am wondering does the trans from evo 8 bolt up to the motor with no modifications and will the ECU plug in like normal or are there any differences i need to be aware of.

Also so any of the sensors or parts need to come off the Evo 8 motor and put on the evo 7 motor?

Evo 7 engine does work. Bolts up and works with 8 components.
