Anyone out there using this setup? Just wanted to know how this setup is hanging in there over long term use?

Do they still make these gearsets? I thought they went out of production awhile ago?

Interesting. According to Albin's site, they are discontinued. I wonder where the builder is getting them.

If my 6 speed ever goes, it seems probable I'll be moving to a 5 speed I guess lol.

Seems unlikely we would get enough interest lol. Even at $1000 off, you can still get a hell of a 5 speed for that lol.

I love my 6 speed too but I'm not looking to spend 6-7k on a built one lol. Hopefully I don't have to worry about it for a long long time lol.

i only make 360whp so i'm in a much easier place than u haha. she's going strong after 3 years of track duty so far - was prebuilt already by TRE though with extra oiling passages and the like.

Yea lol. Mine at the 580/510 mark is certainly pushing it. Generally speaking, the research I have done has shown the 6 speeds to not like heat more than hp or tq. My car is a 95% street car with some random nights at the strip mixed in so I'm hoping that the relatively low heat environment should let mine live a long while like this. So far, I'm about 8-10k miles in on this setup with about 20k on a previous 450/400 setup with similar use. And mine is a completely stock trans.
