Quarter master clutch issues
Quarter master clutch issues
Hi this is my first post on this site, hopefully I'm in the right thread. I have a built evo 8 pushing 550whp with a quartermaster twin disc with a hydraulic throw out bearing about 5k miles with a Shep built tranny/rear diff/transfer case less than 8k miles.
I find it extremely difficult to get going into first without stalling unless I drop it from like 4k. When it's cold I can usually slip it but once it's warmed up it is next to impossible not to stall coming out of a stop. It is also very difficult to go slow in first without stalling out as well.
Is this behavior normal for this type of clutch? I know it is not very street friendly and made for the track.
Thank you for your help!!
