Clutch Question (Tilton and Quartermaster)

(Evo IX specifically)
Looking for direct input or factual information about these questions:

Quartermaster (twin):
-Are they rebuilable
-if so how much
-if so how many times
-is it more streetable then a tilton?
-what kinda 60's ?
-have you broken a transfer case/diff?

Tilton (twin comprable to qm):
-how much is a rebuild
-how many times can it be rebuilt before its scrap
-what kinda 60's?
-have you broken a transfer case?

Now it is a well known fact in the supra community that the tilton clutch does not like street driving and tends to start slipping around the 6k mark on a street car (but can handle years of passes and abuse at the track). Did this problem carry over into the evo clutches?

How many miles have people gotten out of these clutches before a rebuild was necessary? at what power level? how often was the car tracked?

I know the clutches are loud.. i know they can be a PITA to drive.. its not a concern

Once again im looking for factual information from either people that own the clutch or people that know of a thread that answers one of these questions.

Thanks a bunch! Looking to make an educated decision here!

Found some of my own answers...

-Tilton clutch is rebuildable about 8 times

I just got done doing a rebuild of my Tilton. It had 8k miles on it and 3 drag passes. If the new disc's go bad in 8k miles I will be switching to a different clutch. Rebuild costs vary on how much needs to be replaced. Each clutch disc is $125. Pressure plate is $100 and floater plate is $80. I did not replace the spring or flywheel.

-how much is a rebuild - see above
-how many times can it be rebuilt before its scrap - every part can be replaced so it can be rebuild indefinitely.
-what kinda 60's? - 1.7
-have you broken a transfer case? - Once. But the 03 transfer cases break easier than and IX will. The open diff is not as strong as the limited slip in your car.
