Supertech valve seals

Okay guys, I ordered a Supertech valve spring kit (SPRK-M1007D-3). Came with 16 BROWN valve seals with the part number VS-H6.6E.

Called Supertech, they said exhaust seals can be used on the intake as well. Seemed like all was good.

Messed up and didn’t install seats first, so had to trash 8 of them. I currently have the brown VS-H6.6E on intake & exhaust for cyl 1 &4.

Ordered more VS-H6.6E seals, and they’re blue. are these the same as the brown?

I Have enough blue seals to redo all valves, but would rather not if they’re actually the same material.

This clip is from the STM website

Look like those blues (exhaust) are a reduced OD spec

they are both reduced diameter. Weird that I got 16 brown seals (two packages) with the brown color, and same with blue. So I’m questioning if color is an indicator I guess

Yes, certainly appears that the Blues are a higher temp rubber compound but whether they are interchangeable w/the intake is beyond me (they show to be the same size so hoping that info is correct about using them on the intake side)
