Drivetrain Issue EVO 9

Yet another EVO 9 drivetrain issue...

Long story short, managed to break the connectors on the ACD solenoid at the end of 2022. Everything was working well previous to this.
Unfortunately, had to still drive the car as we were one car down at home. Researched and read that it would act like an open diff. and drove it for about two months like this.
Managed to buy a used pump (Assured it was working when taken off and looked very well kept and in great condition)

Changed the solenoid (read it was a straight swap and did that) with minimal loss of fluids. Orientation the same as with the old one.

The care drove well (At least I thought that I had gotten accustomed to the way it drove (loosely) for the first few days) kinda like it was a train on rails.

Now, the car has been kinda sticking when trying to turn as if there is a brake binding or something like that but there isn't. When trying to turn in reverse gear, the car stops and binds up and feels like it is running over something.

The reservoir is at the min level but after turning off, traces back to the max level.

Unfortunately, the dealership on island is not one that I truly trust and am not sure what the issue might be but the problem started after the solenoid install.

Not sure what more info I can provide to best describe this but will appreciate any and all help and guidance on this.

Did you blead the new ACD pump after you installed it?

No, I did not change the complete pump...only the solenoid was replaced.

Not sure if that changes anything and it still needed to be bled...

ok, sounds like the central diff is locked all the time. Try unplugging the main pump power supply connector (big 2 pin with thick wires) and see if the car still binds. With the pump motor unplugged it will take a bit for the pump pressure to drop, if you had the car running before disconnecting the pump motor. If the car stops binding that will tell us that it is something to do with the ACD - probably the solenoid being stuck open..
Try and report back.. then we can try diagnosing further...
