I was hearing weird sounds for couple weeks. At first, I didn't mind but then this morning I checked the power steering fluid and it was little low so i thought that might be why.

What kind of steering fluid to add?
Does it have to be the same that dealer used before?

I have STP Power steering fluid sitting in my house. Do you think that will work? Btw, how many quarters does the car take at max?

go to the dealer they will fill it up for you... It is a closed system it should not be leaking... if it is have them fix it for free...

 

It probably leaked from somewhere when they were installing some of my stuff...

I am scared to take it to the dealer because I have turbo upgrade etc.

 

Go to your dealer's part's department and ask for Mitsubishi Genuine Power steering fluid . Some times the Evos come from the factory with it not filled properly. If the levels drop again.. do what Grod101 says and take it to the dealer for leak inspection.
