I sent my OG FP green for a rebuild and the rebuilder said he would be upgrading seals and thrust washers in the turbo. He recommended that I switch my oem oil feed line to another line. Does this sound correct? Which line do I go with and do I feed from the head still or oil filter housing?

 

No one is running the stock frame turbos from the oil filter housing?

thanks for the links. My original question is oil feed from the housing for OG Green recommended or is the head sufficient as it was when it first came out?

 

If your OG FP green is a journal bearing then yes you should switch to the oil feed from the oil filter housing.

 

Your rebuilder changed parts, I would follow his suggestion of upgrading the feed line.
