Unhappy Engine noise on first start up

Hey evom peeps. I just did my first start up on a built evo 9 engine and there's a loud tick while it's running. When I crank the engine without it running the engine sounds healthy with no ticks but when it starts up the tick is there constantly. I've cranked the car for about 10 seconds 3 times and let it run for about 5 seconds 3 times. Haven't tried running it longer cause I was afraid of anything going bad. Could it be lifter tick? I have GSC zero tick lifters but I bled them without putting oil back in so they still compressed. I can confirm there is oil pressure through an AEM oil pressure gauge and the oil pressure light goes off on the dash. Any ideas on what it could be? The car also has year old gas in it so could this be knock? Build is a 2.0 with GSC S2 cams and beehive valve springs and retainers. Still on stock fuel pump and injectors

Thanks in advance

For anyone interested, it was just the lifters. Sound went away after letting it run for 20 seconds

First start up with a Mivec engine can be a bit noisy because there's no oil in the Mivec system,, so the cam rattles around till it's pressurised. There's a check valve in the system that holds oil against the Mivec mechanism so you don't get that rattle on subsequent start ups.
