Unknown problem in engine bay

I just got my evo not to long ago and for the first few days of driving she was fine but lately ive been having some trouble and need help figuring out what it is

ill start when i did my oil change- the oil had metal shavings and 2-4 pieces that were concerning.
There was also what looked like 1-2 plastic pieces.

also the evo rough idles, going up to 3k rpms and drops close to 0, even turned off on me once. Itll rev itself up to 3k rpms and hold there and when it goes down it sounds horrible, almost like the cams making knocking noises

i also felt air in one spot of the engine bay, which happened to be above the turbo.

my brother believes that i have a bent valve thats causing all these problems. If you guys can help me out id appreciate it. Also looking for a mechanic who specialize in evos in the vegas area

i do have videos if i can figure out how to post them

It sounds like you don't have a lot of experience working on cars, that's fine but I wouldn't worry about troubleshooting it too much. To me it sounds like a boost leak, a bad MAF/IAC, and maybe other stuff; it really doesn't sound like a valve issue.

I don't know about shops near Vegas, but I am sure someone would chime in. Get it looked over and go from there.
