Please advice, Please help(turbo)

Hey guys,

I am thinking about buying the T3/T4 manifold that they are selling in the Lancer shop.com and bolt a nice T3/T4 turbo on it. Make a DP from a nice exhaust shop. I will buy all the hoses and lines as well no big deal. Fuel injectors as well with a nice fuel pump and last an external wategate and MBC. For engine management I can either go with AL custom flash or turbo XS ECU. I mean I will hand pick all these parts and choose nothing but the best. I turbo charged my S2000 and everything went well couple years ago so I am really familiar with that. One question for you guys is our 16G water cooled or not?? Here is the list for how much it would cost me tell me what you think. Thanks

Manifold T3/T4 $595
T3/T4 turbo $500 I know people that can sell it for me cheap
waste gate about $300
custom DP $150
hoses and clamps about $100
MBC $100
Fuel pump and injectors 650CC around $500
custom tuning from Al is around $550

Am I missing something here?
Complete kit around $2900 what do u guys think

I think a 50 trim is going to be your best bet for a decient spool and decient power on top. Alot of DSM guys have had alot of success with it and I know that several companys have tested that trim on the evo already and they love it. T3/TO4E with a 50 should be good for damn near 400 awhp and a 60 trim should be good for up to 500 awhp or close to it. A 50 would be better for street use. I hope this helps you out.

I have a similar setup..

T3/T4 with 54trim
Turbonetics Evolution External Wastegate
Custom dp that is fitted to turbo can bolt to any cat or test pipe
Custom 321ss manifold
650injectors and walbro fuel pump
spearco custom intercooler and custom ss intercooler pipes
most importantly, Custom dynoflash from Al (he spent about 3-4 hours to tune it) and i also have a s-afc hooked up for extra tuning

I am trying to get rid of my car. If you are really interested in this setup, I can part it out for you.

Just let me know...

What is your power goal? If it’s around 400wbhp then I would stick with the stock turbo anyway. You will get wicked spool up and it wouldn’t cost you anything (turbo wise)! You could always buy a new turbo or get your current one serviced to be on the safe side. If you want more (and I mean REALLY want more) then the GT30R is pretty cool. Basically a HKS 3037 but for a fraction of the price and I think they offer better spool up to the t3/4 hybrid. Check out AMS and RnR racing for a price on the turbo.

...and you were busting Buschurs ***** about a $2200 kit that lacked your injectors and reflash? Our turbo is watercooled, you might want to look into keeping it this way if you using the car for a daily driver... but want do I know?

These parts are hand picked one by one. not like some other company putting what ever makes them more money on the kit
