Oil pressure issues

Just rebuilt my 4G 63 and my oil pressure is 25 to 30 idle when warm and 105 psi at 4000 RPM. I’m still in a break-in. I don’t run it past 4000 on 15 pounds of boost so I don’t know what’s going to happen at higher RPMs with the oil pressure Any comments out there?

what weight oil and what’s the temp when it’s at 105 psi? The idle pressure seems normal for not hot but cool to warm oil especially if it’s thicker. Let it warm to about 180f and rev it up

What weight oil and what is oil temperature?

25-30 at idle seems like its not fully up to temp (over 180*).

Oil pressure high?

The engine was fully warmed up. Idle at 25 to 30, 104 psi at 4000rpm. I did a Balance shaft delete during the engine overhaul and added an oil pressure restrictor to the cams. Running Mobil one. 10w30. I understand reading Evo blogs that a balance shaft will add 20 PSI or so to your oil pressure and read another blog that said to relieve high oil pressure you can drill out the drain back port into the pan. Just picked it up from the tuner this morning and seems to run fine. I’m going to drive it another week or two and switch to. Motul v300 0w40.

So we need an actual oil temperature measurement or guessing what oil pressure "should be" is pointless. In cold weather these cars can idle for 30 minutes and oil temp will barely get to 150. Beyond that, you're certainly not going to hurt anything.
