I spoke to Jon from the TRE directly and he said that 90% of blown TC's are due to INCORRECT FLUID!! He said the factory TC are very strong and can withstand alot of power. The only thing that needs to be upgraded that does brake a lot is the spider gears in the front diff which now they offer a strong one. The price for install and parts are very reasonable. For those of you with blown front diffs , there is the solution for you. Contact Jon, he is very helpful and knowledgeable.

Good to know! thnks i got mine from the dealer absolutely screaming since day one. They told me it was normal and i bought it for about 10k more miles and then they fixed it under warrenty. Sounds great now, i've put another 15k on it since, but i'm assuming it will be a problem again eventually.
