HKS Suction kit for me Great Noise...feels like a tiny bit of added torque and I don't seem to lose anything on the top end that everyone keeps talking about..

i have the hks racing suction and i love it, the turbo spools faster and you can feel more power in the top end!! no problems with the check engine light(make sure you disconnect neg. terminal off battery when you install it).

I use the Apexi power intake also. I have been very please with it........other than having to be a contortionist to install it.

Anyone use the Blitz SUS intake? How do you like it?

I had one on my WRX. Most people told me it that intakes in general didn't do much for a WRX, but it definitely made a difference on my car. Wondering if it would do the same for an Evo.

Thumbs up Temporary cone filter.

Just get an Eclipse MAF adapter and get a regular cone filter that will fit the adapter. Diddn't spend over $50.00. Later I'll get probably a nice filter to go with the Evo...like the Blitz SUS filter that is made of a metal mesh.

I have a K&N Typhoon sitting in the garage. I plan to install it when I put my cams and gears in - along with a trip to the dyno. A few people have had issues with intakes that required added tuning, but I'm not sure what they were running.

Until I see DEFINITIVE 3rd party data (dynos, etc.) that show a benefit from ANY of the intakes I'm sticking with a K&N drop-in. I've seen too many threads about problems and lost performance with intakes.

WORKS is claiming that they understand the problem and are fabbing an intake - it's not out yet. I'm still going to wait until there is DEFINITIVE 3rd party data so I can make an informed decision just not what's cool...

If the cone filter of any kind causes the car to run lean, will there be any serious car or engine dammage resulting? I ask this because i am planning on getting a Air Fuel Controler in the near future, but have the money, and want the sound of a cone intake.
