No crush washer on drain plug?

I changed my oil today on the evo for the first time (first oil change overall) and I don't think there was a crush washer between the pan and the drain plug from the factory. I didn't drop the plug and it wasn't on it, it wasn't stuck on the pan, and it wasn't in the used oil (not that I saw). anyone else have the same thing happen? anyways i put in the copper one supplied by the dealer when i got the the filter on and there is no leaks so hopefully its ok.

Yeah same here. Mine was painted on and stuck on the plug itself.

I didn't have this problem myself, but from the responses it looks pretty common. If it isn't leaking don't mess with it until your next change, but at that point I would follow the advice of the other guys and see if it is painted on
