Great turbo I'm drooling, good luck with your tune , cant wait to see what you can get out of it.

Question for all : RNR gt35 kit looks great, any one know how much differrent than the AMS GT 35 kit ? I figure only a little apart on price once you figure in the equal lenght exaust man. any opinions? I'm really interested in one of these kits. Ive only got 2 more payments on my "Crapvette" and then ...........lookout!!!!

Any of you guys with the GT35R in the .63 A/R housing ever measure your exhaust manifold backpressure compared to intake manifold pressure? I was wondering if exhaust back pressure ever gets higher than the boost in the smaller housing at around 30psi.

I'm very interested in the 3071 turbo kit. My primary concern is the lack of a shop car and customer cars with this exact setup answering questions about its performance. It would also be nice to see an independent shop dyno a 3071 set up evo with high boost and race gas. The backpressure is also a concern, but I just want to know how this setup drives. How about a drag race time as well? Even Shiv took his stage two car out a while back and did a 11.63/121 IIRC. 411 please.

Yeah, having a gt35 definately hurts you off the line.

And, unless you plan on running race gas ALL THE TIME, the extra lag isn't worth the minimal power gain you would get on pump gas. With proper engine management, the stock 16g spool-up is about as good as it gets.

Lets wait and see some times with this upgraded turbo

Smog, took my car up to Shiv, and he tuned it. IT runs insanely now I might be interested in meeting up with you guys next month to head out to Fontana if you're going to be out there.

Also, ive been meaning to ask this for a while now, but what does the acronym IIRC stand for?

Alex,
It is great to hear you are up and running great. You were quiet for a while and some of your posts seemed like all was not well. It would be great to meet up with you at either Fontana or Carlsbad sometime soon.

If I recall correctly, IIRC means "if I recall correctly."

Smog

Glad, everyone is really happy with the products we sell. The turbo ktis have been doing really well and everyone is very happy. We can't build the manifolds fast enough. The GT35R is a great turbo for a daily driver street car. The dual BB really helps along with every part of the turbo kit working together.

After doing a little research we will be including an option to get a lower IC pipe. Buschur's Lower IC pipe doesn't fit, but most of the other aftermarkets pipes that don't eliminate the elbow will be very close and will fit with a hump hose.

We are seeing full boost by 4200rpm with the standard manifold and even faster with the equal length manifold.

Malibu, I was really hoping you would be able to get our kit. Anyway when the time comes you are ready let me know.

So the stand manifold is spooling pretty quick. When you do upgrade to our equal length manifold I am sure you will see an even better repsonse and overall powerband.
