RNR GT35R turbo kit Installed!!!

I just installed the RNR racing GT35R turbo kit in my car, and it is incredible. I also installed the GReddy 720cc injectors. I am getting the car tuned either friday or monday depending on my schedule, im hopin for ~450 WHP on race gas on DD dyno. I dont want to push the stock motor too hard. all in all the install went very well, there were a couple of minor set back's, they forgot to send turbo to manifold gasket. but other than that it went great it was fairly easy, the only real problem i had was that the BR lower IC pipe didnt connect very well because it was too long and bent wrong, so i am having a new IC pipe made, other than that everything went great, I will get you guys some dyno numbers as soon as I take it down to the dyno

SWEET! I don't think 450whp is going to be too much for the stock motor...I am confident that the 4G63 is capable of handling about 700hp before it starts getting intot he realm of unrelability...Post pics and dyno charts ASAP!

Welcome to the 35R club..J/K
Hows your spool with the 264's. I'm going to try the 272in/264ex combo, I heard it helps spool out a little and brings up the torque numbers.

try the oposite on the cams, 272 ex / 264 in. the flow characteristics of the 4g63bt favor the intake side. even better, if you can find a matched set of cams where the exhaust cam has a bigger lift that'll help out too, then you can avoid having to retard the timing. in my theory why change the characteristics of an engine when it can be avoided.

True, we'll see though. I'm going to try several different set-ups to see what combo makes the most power/spool/blah blah on the 35R. So then we can all have this data for future reference, plus I want to haul ****..lol

Sorry for the hijacked thread, now post some pics.

I sent my car off to my tuner for him to install ARP rod bolt's and head stud's, I was worn out after turbo install lol. after that we are taking it down to the dyno (hopefully before monday) and getting it tuned properly. I think boosting 20PSI running extremely rich, if i remember correctly, i was spooling at about 4200-4300. I was payin a lot of attention to the road at the time though. i will get you guys some exact numbers and some dyno slips and pics ASAP.

I'd like some info on your numbers too. So far, I think the RNR kit made 494whp at 24psi. Very impressive.

i never been in a car with a turbo like that but dont know much bout this but doesnt that extra time to spool really hurt you off the line? and have to use the lower gears alot more to make some power? I think if thats true im gonna lean more torwards the GT30 turbo instead, correct me if im wrong though please.

maybe true, however even though you are not at full boost by 3500, you are still making more power at 3500 RPMS w/ a properly setup aftermarket turbo then w/ stock.

while spooling at 4200 the launch on the car was insane, im pretty good at launching but trust me it launched a hell of a lot harder than it did on stock turbo turbo so launch is not something you should have to worry about. pretty much this turbo is the perfect daily driver if you want a lot of power, i got it and i rode in my friends DSM that is running the GT30R, I know not a great comparison, but the usuable power for passing etc is about the same, i would not go for the GT30R kit unless you want to save some money. last night we got the emanage tuned up a lil and im running 17.5 PSI and it hits really well, i would guess im easily pushing upwards of 400 right now no problem, with good tuning and a little more boost i should hopefully hit upwards of 500 on race gas. also for whoever asked about engine management, I am using the GReddy E-manage
