Damn, not looking good. What was the cause of the damage? My eclipse threw a rod and that was a mess as well.

Ouch. Just for references, I hope that's not what your paying (the bill)? Because you could buy a top to bottom race engine installed and built to much better standards for less than you have quoted there.

Mods : AEM Intake , Mr BOV. It was due to flooding. engine + Water = Bent rod = rubbin against block = BABOOM !!

ouch...did the aem suck in that much water...i had hydrolock in my prelude back in 2001. it really sucks...i pumped about 4oz from pistons 1&4...damn...sorry for your loss. how low is the filter situated?
