I installed no less than 9 of them in the last week; including one in my car. Almost all were purchased from Al (Dynoflash) so they are the same (Hallman Pro/ with tubing, plugs, T, etc). They are not very technical to install, but take some work. After 9 in one week I can do them in about 45 minutes, but my first took almost 3 hrs (trick is to go from underneath the car, not above). If you need help PM me and I can elaborate.

As for performance, they are top notch! There is absolutely no reason not to use one. Tuning usually takes about 10 minutes (5 -7 runs) and they hold boost rock solid till redline. I highly recommend you get the kit from Al at Dynoflash; they are very well priced and allways include everything you need for a seemless install. Great bang for the buck! Your butt dyno will love it.

We all used the under the hood adjust. There is no real benefit to having the controller in the car. Once it's set you won't touch it very often at all; if ever.

To run the know into the car you simply drill the firewall, like running gauges. You can easily drill right below the grommet for the accelorator cable; which will come into the car just above the break pedal (above the carpeting).

haha. yeah, i DONT recommend trying to install if from the top. You will cut your hand, and you STILL won't be able to get enough leverage to pull some hoses off.

Anyhow, i have a brand new Hallman in Black that im selling for $85 shipped if anyone's interested.

I installed the hallman with in-car controls on Friday night. It was pretty easy to run the cable. you just need to figure out where you want to mount the knob. I have mine mounted under the dash by my right leg. It is tucked up out of the way but still accessible by my right hand. PM me for more details.

(I know it's mentioned above once already, but I wanna hear more feedback) For those who have the cable running into the car, do you really use it at all? I can only imagine you'd use it just to set your boost when you first get it. You don't set it on the fly like next to a light do you? You gotta set, test, set, test, til you get it right, right?

I can understand the need to change boost with an electronic one, cuz its easier, and you got settings for low and high boost at your fingertips. But to change a manual boost controller in-car, and not know where it is til you test it? I don't see a point. Correct me if I'm not seeing the benefits of this.

I guess what I'm trying to justify is the almost doubled price between the bare controller and the cabled controller.

The only time I see a point in the in car knob is if the car spikes during cold weather. You could simply turn it down inside the car, instead of pulling over. Other then that I dont see point, unless you want to run lower boost and have the ability to turn it up with out getting out. I' think I'm just gonna get the underhood one. I dont plan on running more the 19 psi for now.

same here. I just wanna run 19psi across the band. About 90% of the times, I only hit 17-18psi, anyways. From what I hear, this controller doesn't produce inconsistent results, but is rock stable.

I'm using a Hallman Pro right no in my car and I love it. Boost is rock solid and install is straigh forward.

Do I have to remove the "pill" to hold that boost solid to redline?
