Cam gear settings with larger turbo?

I’m about to install the ATP 3071 kit on my EVO and I’m wondering about cam gear settings.

I will have the following setup:

MoTeC M48 Pro stand alone ECU with MAP sensor
ATP Garrett GT3071R .82 a/r 4” inlet turbo
ATP 3" stainless turbo elbow/down pipe
ATP 4" custom suction pipe
ATP lower intercooler pipe
Tial 38mm external wastegate
Eagle forged H-profile conrods
Ross forged pistons
AMS 780cc injectors
Tomei Procam 260 11,5mm IN/EX camshafts
Tomei adjustable cam gears
Tomei valve springs
HKS SSQVial blow off valve
HKS super power flow air filter
HKS Hiper 3" exhaust system
Custom made high flow stainless exhaust manifold
Sytec 255l high capacity fuel pump
NGK B8EGP racing plugs

So when it comes to cam gear settings and a turbo like the 3071 with the above mods are there any general settings I should start with? I mean is there something that say that normally you should put the intake/exhaust cam at a certain direction from 0?

And in general if you put the intake/exhaust cam at a negative value or a positive value what would be the result? I guess I’m after some cam adjustment basics here

Thanks,

Oh just finished reading the post. When you retard them i believe you gain mid to top end and when you advace them you gain low end. You are basically moving you power curve up or down.

That's what I saw on the dyno when I was working out my tune. I also found that staggering the gears slightly to reduce overlap (advancing my exhaust cam) helped both my HP and torque.

One thing I would recomend is pulling the plugs and hand turning the engine with all of the settings you plan to try on the dyno. You wouldn't want to find an interference problem the hard way.
