New Gearbox Needed
My EVO 6 gearbox is on it's last legs. It can't take the 380bhp/355lb/ft on the track, and with 500bhp/450lb/ft imminent, it needs changing.
The Ralliart DogBox (Hewland internals) is £7500+VAT at the moment, and seems to be the only option - or does anyone else know of an alternative?

Tony, call Dave Sellens, seriously. There's quite a few options, (something like X-Trac..) going up to about 20k pounds for fully sequential ones. Dave might even get a hold of a full works box if you're lucky...

Don't buy the dog box kit at the price Co-Ordsport is offering! It's a pure rip-off. With a bit of negotation skill you should get it much cheaper even from them. I know from good sources you can get them much cheaper even from them.
It's quite tricky to get the right tolerances. It needs some experience with those or it can end in tears.
