Tunning Price/Cost/Time ????

How much and how long to fully tune with the AEM setup? the vafc setup? both race and pump gas?

I'm guesssing may be 200-250 per hour to tune and maybe 2-3 hrs so total is about 750 max (worst case)? Is this wrong? I want to see how much tunning will cost in additional to the 2-3G turbo or AEM.

Thanks.

Boost Solutions has two 11sec stock turbo EVOs running the EMS so very reputable and charge about the same. It all depends on the situation. Did you buy it from them, etc... Call them at 1-770-904-2644 ask for George or Doug or check out www.boost-solutions.com. They are in Altlanta, GA.

How many of these tunes including setting the knock threshold correctly? While trying to get away without knock control maybe okay for the street or the short duration run down the dragstrip, it would be foolish to overlook for high stress applications like road racing.

WOW you guys got great deals. I ended up paying $1200 for everything but that is a full day and as many dyno runs that i wanted. Also included as many maps that i want and every aspect of the AEM tuned along with my cam gears. Also included Race fuel and price to convert to FWD for the dynoing process. Oh well least i know i got everything solid!

Boost Solutions tuners will set up your EMS however you want it. They are currently using the updated software and adjusted quickly not that it is that much different. Doug had set up my knock control one time and it wasn't boggy at all. I guess better safe than sorry. I don't use it on a regular basis though. The new two-step launch is amazing. I get 1.5bar off the line. Nothing but flame out of the exhaust when I'm on the two-step.
