K&N drop-in filter -do I really need it?

I decided not to put an intake.
What would K&N-like filter help me with?

Thanks

K&N Drop In

I agree with Darwinator............More = "More Better" most of the time except out here where I live. At 109 deg average temp, any car ingesting air that hot usually does not run like it is supposed to.

top end power / smooth engine operation.
It is a cheap part, try by yourself.

I was also planning on getting the HKS or K&N drop-in, but I saw the Buschur intake - which I thought it's a better setup than the drop-in's

cost about $80.
