and also i do agree that lightened flywheels make a huge diff....at least when your factory one weighs 25 + lbs...thing is ours weigh much less....so not much difference.

i have the twin and it is slightly heavier, but not crazy. takes a little getting used to, but definatley streetable. plus, it will take some serious abuse.

Did you do the install yourself or took it to a shop?

I heard AMS was good? Anyone done a clutch install there? Other recommended shop around that area?

Thanks.

I have the exedy twin disc. it's fantastic. had some chatter when i first got the clutch...but after a couple of weeks it's gone... it still makes noise when engaging...but thats just the nature of the clutch.

as far as clamping...rediculous. the pedal feel is just like stock...but when i slip it at 6k, all four wheels light up instantly. i have never had any kind of smell or slipping with this clutch.

based on all of the clutches i went through on my DSM's (ACT, centerforce, RPS), the exedy outperforms them all...by far. in my opinion, it was worth every penny i paid for it.

Just got the ACT clutch install yesterday. Pedal is slightly heavier then stock but nothing to complain about. Definitely better but I need to adjust to it. Stall a few times in first already.

Not sure if it is normal but I get a rattling/vibrating sound kinda like a loose exhaust when in first gear at around 2000 rpm. Hopefully it'll go away after the break-in.

Hope everyone is doing good!

I noticed a little screeching like noise under load at first when breaking it in but have talked to several others with the same type of clutch and its very normal. It only lasted like 100 miles tops, and now its perfect.

Thanks for the comfort. I can't wait until the break-in is over so I can go back crusing and look for SRT4 again Off to the track to see the 1/4 time as well.
