Stage 0 Vishnu (3" turbo back) on 93 octane. I have seen the gauge peak at 960C. Running the stock program results in approximately the same temps. No audible ping from inside the cabin. Tried resetting the ECU to see if I was in a high knock map, and hence retarded timing, but that didn't lower them either. Car feels extremely strong, but the EGT readings are just sky high.

Boost gauge is reading a peak of 22.8 or so, and tapering to 18.8 by redline. Stock BPV.

We're going to hook up the wideband and see what's going on with afr. The probe is located very close to the port. Within 2" of port #2. Pictures attached.

My EGT Probe is located on runner #1 about 5 inches from the block. The highest EGTs I've seen is 850 C. But normally it is between 800 and 820 C at WOT. Highway crusing is around 700 C.

Everyone else seems to have their probes far from the port. Far is relative, but mine is CLOSE. I'm guessing the mixture is still on fire on the way out of the port, hence the sky high reading close to the head.

I suppose it depends on calibration, etc and whatnot but we always put the probe where your pic shows. We never like to see much over 900; especially on a stock motor.

You cannot go simply by EGT's. EGT's are also affected by ignition timing, etc. Leaner and less timing BOTH give you higher EGT's. It is more something where you need to have it tuned professionally (against wideband, knock sensor, OBD2 scanner, etc.) and then note if the EGT's change from the time you tune, etc.

I tried running the stock program too, and it resulted in in a peak of 950C as well. Idle settles in around low 600. Highway in 5th can be around 750C to 850C depending on speed.

Temperature readings would typically result in lower EGT's, ie. not as accurate
