Tranny coating?!?!

i remeber reading awhile back about some kind of coating or something you treat to all the parts inside the trans. it was nhra illegal or something also if that helps? maybe im imagining things but since i need some thing stronger to put the power to the wheels im looking for anything that will work . ~adam

This was one of the first to come to mind, however, most places that do engine coatings do your tranny also.

nope tama i was thinkin of the link i supplied their is some sort of coating that they banned from nhra drag racingbecause it was to unfair supposedly like cuts friction down in the tranny and makes the tranny super strong!

man that cryo stuff is no joke, I built an engine back in the day for my slow as crap s-10 and used some speed pro pushrods that were hardened, well the horrible design on the engine used push rod guide plates, the stock guide plates were like butter to the hardened pushrods so I purchased a new set and had them cryo treated, never had the problem again.
