BG Syncromesh Fluid, all around?

I have had this in my tranny and it seemed to work alot better than the Redline and the Royal Purple.

I was told that I can use this all around in the drivetrain. The tranny, front center and rear diff. Has anyone done this , and is this ok to run the BG Syncromesh all around?

It says on the bottle gl-4 rated and I belive the center and rear diff is gl-5 rated..

Can anyone help me out with this? Before I used the redline 75w-90 in the center and rear,,, but just looking to get the best fluid in there as I can

Thanks again!

I wouldn't do it. The BG stuff is for the tranny only. You need SAE90 oil in the t-case. You might be able to get away w/ using 75W-90 in the rear diff.

I actually took my car in today to get the fluids changed (tranny, transfer and rear diff). I was planning on using the Syncromesh in the tranny then the service guy called me back and said the tech has memo's from Mitsubishi stating that they do not recommend the Syncromesh. They recommended another GL4 instead. I will have to find out what it was...

I had used the royal purple in the tranny,,it sucked,,, then tried red line and it was a little better,,,, After a few thousean I changed to BG syncromesh, and it was alot better.

Just to get things straight,,,,, We change the tranny, and it is shared with the front diff. The center diff is what? And the rear diff is the other right?

The Center diff gets 75w-90 along with the rear diff,,, and both these are gl -5 while the tranny is gl-4 correct?

The tranny and transfer case do not share the same oil. The center diff is inside the tranny while the front diff is inside the transfer case.
