i have not done anything to make them idle different i just put them in & she ran fine! with the a/c on i don't notice it idle rough it's when the motor is luke warm & i start it up it lopes pretty good. it is not bad @ all in my opinion. i'm just running hi throttle settings but you will for sure notice a difference right away!

sweet, yeah All i have it hi throttle settings in mine as well, but i may zero those out and reset the ECU when i go to do the cams. Will see how it does zero'd out, and then will apply my same hi throttle settings i am running. Maybe I will be lucky as well.

yeah, once the car is running closed loop, the ECU actually learns and compensates for cams and larger fuel injectors. Adjusting the LO-TH settings at idle really are for getting the car to idle when the car is cold (when you first start it for the day) before the O2 sensor has warmed up to the point where it will run in closed loop... For the first few seconds when you start the car (whether its warm or cold) it runs in open loop until the ECU completes the O2 sensor test and its warmed up.. Thats usually when these settings are needed.. This applies to almost any EM solution that retains the stock ECU.. Flashes are able to adjust the default trims and open loop maps to always compensate for this where the piggyback devices alter this externally..

yeah...thats what makes the Lo throttle settings and trying to fix idle with the SAFCII is worthless. Anything you adjust in closed loop the computer will adjust for. You can test this by just idling and adjusting the lo throttle settings around 900rpm or so. At first you can tell you either fattened or leaned, but then the computer does its thing and its back to normal even though the settings are still in the AFC. Im just more concerned with stalling, I dont really care about loping idle.
