Any info on the BLITZ NUR SPEC exhaust?

Hey wats up fella's?

I did a search but couldn't really find anything.
I'm interested in the BLITZ NUR SPEC exhaust for my EVO.

I want to kno how it sounds, or what people think of it on the EVO.
I have heard it on a WRX, and it sounds SICKKK. Would it sound similar on an EVO? I kno WRX's have their own rumble from the boxer engines. But what about the EVO?

Does it sound as great?

And does any1 have any sound clips for it?

Thanks!

I too was interested in this exhaust. I did some research on it and found out that it is one of the louder exhaust out on the market. It is suppose to be top quality and the UK guys use it on their older model Evos. I have not been able to find a sound clip of it yet.

no sound clips yet so far and i was planning on getting the muffler before to mate it with my RMR piping before they had the catback. they are one of the loudest in the market and do produce some good numbers.

I hear that since their the JDM exhausts, the muffler comes up about 1-2" shorter on the US spec bumpers. So if I cut the pipe in the middle (near the cat somewhere) and weld in about a 2" extension piece of pipe, would that be OKAY? Would there be any drawbacks?

Thanks!

Hey guys,

I just wanted to give you guys some feed back on the blitz nur spec r exhaust for the evo. I am currently running the system with a rmr downpipe and I like it a lot. The system can be quite loud, but it does inlcude a silencer. I don't have any sound clips to post, but i can tell you that with the silencer in its about 91 decibels and without its close to 108 decibels. I also haven't dynoed it, but judging for the pull it provides some benefit in both the high and low ranges.

Originally the JDM version did not clear the rear bumper, however, blitz north america has made some modifications to the catback and it more than clears the rear bumper. If any of you guys are in the Los Angeles area I'd be more than happy to let you guys check it out.

I'd say it sounds pretty close it terms of loudness. The tone is a little different because the Evo is an inline 4, but altogether roughly the volume and tone.

Sorry I don't have any sound clips to provide, but I have no way of recording my exhaust note.
