Question How do I run VTA?

I have the Greddy type S BOV with the one spring mod. I am recirculating right now and just wanted to try out VTA. Do I need to use two springs or one? (21 psi)
The box came with a silver metal cap, Im guessing I just plug the hose going from the HKS intake to the BOV? But intake came with a black rubber cap with clamps. Im guessing I cap the intake and just not use the short hose between the intake and the BOV. Do I use the silver cap or the black rubber cap?

For those with the greddy type S and are running VTA, how many threads are showing above the adjustment screw? I have 5-6 showing right now recirculated.

NO, unless you have a Stand alone system to remove your MAF, running into teh atmopshere is stupid. I have the Greddy Type S with an intake, it is PLENTY loud for the rice sound, justvent back into the intake.

The reason why it's a bad idea to run VTA on a MAF equipped car is that it'll dump metered air out. Your ECU calculates how much fuel to dump into your engine based on how much air is measured at the intake. When you dump that metered air out, it'll cause your car to run super rich and cause all kinds of driveability problems.

To run VTA, you either have run a MAP sensor via a standalone or run a blow thru MAF that meters air after the BOV.
