Just talked to the bender. From the time they get it they are talking 6-8 weeks to have it bent. That sucks. I may have to look at another option so I can get them quicker, or just build them here by hand.

Two questions for David:

1. Are you still going to offer the old IC pipe kit? It requires the mini battery, but it looks like it eliminates more bends and would perform better, which to me is worth the extra cost.

2. If you are selling both styles, will the old kit be available with another BOV option (such as the Forge or MR that you mentioned)?

Oh absolutely we will be offering the current style i/c pipe still. It is the best way to go. Many guys just don't want to eliminate the stock battery so this is an option for them. The kit will basically cost half as much as what we have now that requires the battery kit.

The upper i/c pipe we have now is available with other brand BOV's. Problem is re-routing them for MAS equipped cars. Everyone is a different height, has a different outlet etc. Putting a pipe on a car here to fit each and every BOV is not feasible for us. We can put it on and get it close but if you need to re-route it then getting from the BOV back to the MAS pipe is up to you.

Good to know I understand you've had good results with the 1G, but I think I'd prefer a valve that was designed for the higher pressure like the MR instead of one that has to be crushed to carry the pressure. Glad that you offer the option.

The older style kit looks to me like it's the best option out there. Keep up the good work!

the only worry i have about the perrin is that its all silicon and may flex under pressure.

Stock UPIC pipe is fine, really it is you have 3Hp or less to gain, you have a LOT to gain from a Lower IC pipe, about 10-15WHP not to mention faster spoolup and a harder hit, it was GREAT when I put the UR Pipes. Why not just get the cheapo ones, here is a link...

Just get these, spend some extra cash and buy some T-Bolt clamps, which is the best you can use this side of welding.

Yeam, im doing it more for looks as well. But I am also getting the Intake and MAF pipe which I am currently stock. I also have the AMS L IC pipe on its way. Im not so sure its a 10-15 gain, Ive heard most are about 6-8 and 10-12 total from lower and upper. Either way, al Ive heard is good things about the AMS lower pipe. Anyway, im on stock turob, what do you all think or I should say by how much should my spool up quicken from adding a lower and upper pipe??

Its a BIG Difference, you pipes don't expand, the stock lower IC pipe is trash, it has so many needless bends and its just a terrible design. Lower pipe is BIG, harder hit when the boost hits, spoolup is faster, that is for sure. Upper IC pipe really does nothing, other then npt have to worry about it blowing off, like mine did about 5 times before I bought the UR pipes

Nothing really new on the new i/c pipe. I was going to send it out to be bent in California, now our local bender just bought a new machine that will make the radius I need. The machine is on its way to them. Once they have it in and set up I will get this over to them.

I can probably make a few of them by welding them together in sections if there are any of you that just have to have this style. Price will be the same as our other kit.
