Help Too Much Boost

Well it all started out from greed I guess cuz I bypassed the boost pill in my car this weekend ya know just to see what it "feels" like to run more boost. It was fun for awhile but now its time to go back to stock boost or so I thought. I reconnected everything back together and well I'm still seeing 1.6 bar on my guage. I have checked the sylanoid both with the car off and on and it appears to open when the car is at idle. I have even made new vacuum lines running from the pill to wastegate actuator. no luck. The only thing different in the car now is new spark plugs. I did run around 103 octane all weekend but it should'nt cause anything like this should it. The only boost guage I have is the one on the blitz tt could it be getting bad? What do you guys think Did I hurt something this weekend or what? Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thanks

The boost gauge on the Blitz TT is very inaccurate (IMO), it generally reads 2-3 lbs higher than the Zeitronix/AEM pressure transducer that I'm using for datalogging. Which I've been told is about as accurate as it gets. Although bypassing that pill prolly wasn't the best idea I don't think you hurt anything. I'd get a better boost gauge, an MBC (cheap & reliable), cap the stock solenoid and go from there. Hope it all works out for ya.

I've got a friend with both the Blitz DTT and boost Defi gauge. He says they read exactly the same, so I don't know.

I talked to the Blitz distributor for Canada and, oddly enough, they're nolonger carrying Blitz. Some problem with accuracy (boost?).
Then they tried to sell me a Greddy tt and guage for 400+!!!

Is everyone happy with the blitz? I'm not sure if i wanna take what that guy was saying at face value.

I had a Blitz dual TT on my galant and I will put it on the WRX, as for a turbo timer while not necessary because you can sit in the car for a minute, I found in my experience it was very helpful especially when I was late to school http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/smile.gif. As for the blitz unit its self the boost gauge is not that accurate instead of spending $120 get a apexi or greedy for $80, can be even cheaper on e-bay.
OK no my question to you guys:
1. Were can I get a harness for my blitz TT?
2. Also what spot are you guys talking about where it mounts, is it the panel next to the cup holder on the top? Anyone got a pic?

NTHECRUX found a problem with one of the lines and that cured up the spike so it is fixed now. The gauge was accurate though in this case.
