I just installed my Greddy silver peak/hold boost gauge the other day and took it for a test drive...well to my surprise when I got on it to see what my boost was the gauge tached out past the 2 bar mark. Ok something is wrong I thought...Then I remebered that I had forgotten to put the pill in the T for the boost gauge. Ok took it for another test drive...same thing..I taped the right line...I did however just install a boost controller, but seeing how it is set at its lowest setting and the install was looked at several times to make sure it is correct, that should not be the problem...Has anyone out there experienced this?

 

what line are you reading the pressure from?

also, i dont think the gauge line would have a pill in it. just the lines off the compressor/wastegate. and if you had a BC then the pills would be eliminated anyway.

i dont trust an electronic bc so id be careful cause thats almost 30psi if youre hitting 2 bar (which from what i read isnt unheard of without restriction)
when i had spikes i wouldnt let it run past 23psi. scared the crap out of me.
