I was able to take a run in the Brainstorm EVO yesterday. It was equipped with the APS intake. Man that car could move and he was only running 91 octane. The APS intake looked very sharp, I might consider it as my next mod.

Man thats a clean looking setup! I hear ya about cold air and making power! I'm still a little concerned about water but that shield is a slick addition!

I am running RnR's Custom CAI. Very nice sound and the filter is getting alot of cold air. Al's dynoflash custom tune had no problems with it like he did with the KN Typhoon either.

Yes, we sell a very nice 304 SS polished CAI. It places the filter in the fender. Also the SS pipe looks real nice under the hood. We use this intake on all the EVO's we build. There is at least (5) 500-600 EVO's with this intake currently.

I would go HKS RS or just RnR intake with filter or Buschur pipe with filter.

The way you defend against getting water into your engine or turbo is to avoid driving in a big puddle of water. This a car, not a 4x4 truck.
